In remote villages Kenya Internet will spend by air

By 2019, Kenya is planned to create full coverage of the network of remote areas of the country. For this, the power of the country will use balloons. The project is based on the development of Loon, which will work in the Commonwealth with Telkom Kenya.

It is noteworthy that aerostat involved in developments, according to the idea, will be equipped with solar batteries that can provide their autonomy. With their help, residents will be able to connect to 4G unhindered. It is known that to create optimal signal distribution conditions, aircraft will be placed on a height of 18 km above sea level. Such a position can open access to the network for the most remote villages that have previously had no way to connect to the network.

It is noteworthy that another aspect of the need to expand the coverage area of the network is the growing popularity of cryptocurrency in the country. The inhabitants of Kenya drew attention to the new financial instrument, since, unlike the national currency, it is able to ensure the stability of funds and a decrease in the level of commissions. With increasing access to the network, it is planned to continue popularizing cryptocurrency in the regions.
