Russians have become more consumed

According to Rosstat, for June of the current year, the Russians spent 3% more for the purchase of goods and services, in parallel the savings from 11.3% to 7.8% of their income, compared to the same period last year.

In June 2017, the population spent 71.7% of their cash income on various purchases, and in the current year this figure rose to 73.9%. Also noted the growth of storage of cash from 2.2% to 3.4%, which is approximately 100 billion rubles. The increase in this indicator is likely to be associated with accumulation of vacation season preparation and related costs.

A decrease in the share of income directed to the purchase of foreign currencies should be allocated, from 3.4% to 3% of income. This shows that the Russians are increasingly preferring ruble.
